The Strategic Lead – Children & Young People (Place) will coordinate and deliver an active school’s programme across primary schools, support secondary schools through the Active Futures programme, and strengthen opportunities for children and young people to be active within both school and community settings.

Working collaboratively with senior leaders, schools, VCSE organisations, community groups, and service providers, the postholder will embed a physical literacy-led approach to physical activity, wellbeing and inclusion, strengthen pathways into community provision, and support the development of sustainable, place-based approaches that improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.
