Our projects
We run several projects to support the community and sustain the charity. These include the Happy @ Home befriending project and Community Transport services.
Volunteer
Volunteering is at the heart of what we do. We offer volunteering through the Community Action Northants website and advertise corporate volunteering opportunities on our website. If you need some extra support to look for a volunteering role, or with advertising a volunteer role, please contact our office.
For organisations
Our organisational support and infrastructure help local organisations through free training, advice, resources and much more.
Our values
Everything we do is supported by our values
Each element aligns with our values of being strategic and supportive, making things happen, leading in our field, and placing people at our heart.

Our history
Humble beginnings
Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire, previously known as Northampton Volunteering Centre, began in 1990 as Northampton Volunteer Bureau. Over the years, we have grown significantly not only in the size of our team but also in the services that we offer.
Our team
Meet the team
Our senior leadership team is supported by our valuable trustees in steering the charity. We also run various projects, which can be viewed in our projects tab at the top of the page. The final vital part of our team is our fantastic volunteers, who support a number of our projects.
