Myth – Volunteers are free, a charity should have as many as they can.

Truth – Charities invest money to recruit, train and supervise volunteers. While volunteers are incredibly valuable, it’s good practice for organisations to consider how many volunteer roles they can invest in and have capacity to support long term.
